Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our lashes are entirely waterproof and can get wet directly after your service. You should wash them well after enjoying the beach (be sure to use oil free sunscreen) Lashes are NOT tear proof. Rinse your lashes directly after crying as emotional tears can weaken your lashes. This will give you a lot more to cry about. Lashes are also NOT steam proof. That means no saunas and be sure to protect your lashes during a facial with tanning or laser goggles.

  • New to extensions?

It can be overwhelming. Terms like classic, volume, MEGA, Russian - they all describe different application techniques, styles, and fiber textures.

    Let's break it down:

Classic: 1 extension fiber adhered to 1 natural lash. Usually uses coarser, longer, more rigid fibers. Offers less retention and may feel slightly heavier.

Volume: Multiple finer, lighter, flexible extension fibers adhered to 1 natural lash in a fan shape. Terms like MEGA and Russian indicate style/shape/density. Fewer fibers are used on shorter natural lashes, while more can be applied to coarser natural lashes.

Remember, achieving a natural look is possible with various techniques. Say goodbye to confusion and embrace the beauty of lash extensions.

  • Brush and wash with lash shampoo daily, avoid oil based products (if it does not say oil free, it has oil in it) protect your lashes while you sleep by using a lash sleep mask and avoid heat such as lighters, candles, ovens, bonfires.

  • Keep your Lashes Radiant: The Truth about Washing

Yes, washing your lashes is essential. No, it won't make them fall off. In fact, not washing them is what leads to problems. Lashes accumulate dirt and oil, jeopardizing the lifespan of your extensions and even risking infections.

Eyelashes naturally shield our eyes from dirt and oil. More lashes mean more accumulation. Regular washing keeps them oil-free, maintaining their fluffy and soft appeal. While we perform a deep cleanse during appointments, weeks of residue require daily attention. Neglecting this may result in longer appointments and poor adhesion, causing extensions to detach prematurely.

We advise using lash shampoo with a brush daily. Gently cleanse between lashes, removing buildup from the 1mm gap between your lashes and eyelid. Embrace cleanliness for vibrant, long-lasting lashes.

  • Thoroughly wash your lashes, removing all traces of makeup for squeaky-clean results. This ensures excellent lash retention and speeds up your maintenance appointments.

Consider avoiding makeup altogether a day or two prior to your appointment. This helps to create a clean canvas for flawless lash application.

Skip the coffee! Caffeine can lead to increased bathroom breaks and involuntary eye movement, potentially prolonging your appointment. Relaxation is key, so opt for caffeine-free alternatives.

Remember to remove your contact lenses before your appointment. This allows for a smooth and comfortable lash experience.

If you prefer to zone out during your appointment, bring your earbuds for a tranquil experience.

Follow these simple tips to enhance your lash journey and achieve the best possible results.

  • Important Notice: Your Safety and Lash Extensions

Please be aware that certain medical or skin conditions may lead to a reaction during lash extension procedures or removal. Adhesives and adhesive removers can potentially irritate the skin, eyes, and mucus membranes. While rare, some individuals may have allergies or hypersensitivity to the cyanoacrylate present in the adhesive, which can cause symptoms such as swelling, redness, and itchiness within 24 hours of application.

Fortunately, allergic reactions are extremely uncommon, affecting less than 1% of individuals. In most cases, the reaction subsides naturally within 48-72 hours. It is not advisable to remove lashes during an allergic reaction, as this can intensify the response.

It's important to note that the ingredient allethrin is present in all lash adhesives. Therefore, switching adhesives will not create or eliminate an allergy.

Your safety and comfort are our utmost priority. Please inform your technician of any relevant medical or skin conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable lash experience.
